Classes We Offer

House of Dance offers a variety of dance classes for all skill levels. Our experienced Director and her staff is passionate about helping each dancer achieve their highest potential, while also having as much fun as possible. Have a look at our class schedule below to find the one that best fits your needs.

Young Ballerinas

Tiny Dancer

A 45 minute class which includes Ballet, Creative Movement and a little tumbling. This constantly moving class is a fun and great way for the young dancers to develop their gross motor and large motor skills, as well as work socially and cognitively. This class is designed for children who want to dance but are not quite old enough to join a ballet class.

Preschool Ballet

The goal of the preschool program is to instill a love of dance.  Our youngest dancers learn basic ballet movements in a positive and fun environment.  Proper technique is taught through creative dances and imagination.  Each class starts with ballet followed by tumbling.  We focus on the basics: strength, muscle control, coordination, and classroom socialization. Dancers explore their independence by attending class without parental assistance.  Every class is a dance adventure of music and movement.

Young Ballet Class
Dancing

Kinder Dance

This class will blend educational concepts with various forms of movement, dance, and tumbling. The programs help develop gross motor skills, movement creativity, fitness, and body awareness. Each class is taught using lesson plans which incorporate original and traditional age-appropriate music and songs.

Ballet/Jazz Combo

Jazz dance includes strength, flexibility and conditioning technique and progressions including turns, kicks and leaps. In a Jazz class the dancers also learn many fun and trendy dance steps that are used for all forms of dance. It is a wonderful class to get a well rounded variety of all dance steps. Dancers will learn choreography to popular and age appropriate music of today along with vintage styles of jazz from the last decades. This is a perfect class to start your dance training.

Dance Studio
Young Gymnast

Preschool/Kinder Tumbling

A fun class for active little ones. We will focus on a different skill each month. Rolls, bridges, walkovers and many more. It is a great class to add to the Preschool or Kinder Dance classes.

Cheer and Tumbling Combo

This class is designed to improve self-confidence, physical health, and teamwork skills all while having a ton of fun! Learn and perfect arm movements, cheers, chants, and choreography that are full of excitement and energy.  This is a type of dance which includes turns, toe touches, split jumps, split leaps, and more, with sharp fast paced combinations incorporating the use of poms.
